Ken "Snakebite" Jacobs has been one of the most in-demand and versatile reed players and bandleaders in the New Orleans area for over 21 years. Ken studied music at Berklee School of Music and also privately with both John Handy and Noel Jewkes. He has recorded with the Neville Brothers, Kermit Ruffins, Marva Wright, John Rankin, Kinky Friedman, Junior Brown, and others. He has performed live with Martha Reeves, The Band, The Temptations, Willie Nelson, Luther Kent, Frankie Ford and Gatemouth Brown, among many others.
